e-Payment Facility for the Business Name Registration System (BNRS)

 

 

Q.   What is e-Payment?

A.    Payments that are processed entirely electronically, with the value passing from one account to another account.  Currently, DTI has enlisted both Globe’s GCash and Bancnet for this facility.

Q.   What is Bancnet?

A.    Bancnet is the largest electronic banking consortium with 54 members and affiliates. It is a multi-bank multi-channel electronic payment network enabling payments for its ATM cardholders via ATM, point-of-sale terminal, Internet, and Mobile.

 

Q.   How will the business applicants pay their new business name application with Bancnet?

A.    To pay their BN application via Bancnet, here are the steps to follow:  

            (a) Go to www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph or www.dti.gov.ph and click the Business Name Registration (BNR) icon;

(b) Select New Application, accept BNRS Terms and Conditions, fill-out the online BN form, select Bancnet as Method of Payment, and click Submit;

(c)   Download the TRN Acknowledgement for reference, click Close then click Continue to Online Payment;

(d) The system will display the information of the application such as: Transaction Reference Number (TRN), Proposed Business Name, Applicant Name, Process Fee, Documentary Stamp Tax (DST),    Convenience Fee, and Total Amount; Click Process Payment to continue;

(e)  The system will redirect to Bancnet Online Payment Page; choose the Bank to be used in paying theregistration and click Submit;

(f)   Enter the ATM Card Number, Member Number, Account Type, ATM PIN, and click PAY; (g)         Wait for the Payment Confirmation page to be displayed and click Continue to proceed;

(h) Download the system generated Official Receipt;

(i)    The client may now download the certificate.

 

 

Q.   How will the client get their Business Name Certificate?

A.    After successful payment, the client may now download the certificate. Here are the steps to follow: 

(a)    Click Download Certificate/Certification under Online Services;

(b)   Accept BNRS Terms and Conditions;

(c)    Supply required information and click Next;

(d)   Click Generate PDF, the button will  change into a link;

(e)   Click Download Business Name Certificate link;

(f)     The client may now download their Business Name Certificate.

 

Q.   What is a Bancnet trace number?

A.    A tracking number assigned by Bancnet to identify individual money transfer transactions. This number may assist you when contacting your financial institution to resolve any existing account difficulties.

 

Q.   What is a Bancnet merchant reference number?

A.    A tracking number assigned by DTI’s Business Name Registration System (BNRS) to identify transactions. These numbers are similar to the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) provided by DTI’s BNRS.

Q.   Where the client can get the Member Number?

A.    The client may call the issuing bank to get the Member Number for e-payment facility.

 

Q.   How much will the Bancnet charge the BNRS client?

A.    The Bancnet will charge the clients a convenience fee of Php 15.00 per transaction.

 

Q.   How will the client get their Business Name Certificate?

A.    The client may download their certificate at the Online Services – Download Certificate/Certification, just fill-out the required fields and click Next.

 

Q. Who will provide support for client’s inquiries?

A.    For inquiries on business names transactions:

            (b) Outside Metro Manila: Proper DTI Provincial Office where business is located.

GCash  

 

Q.   What is Globe’s GCash?

A.    GCash is an internationally acclaimed micropayment service that transforms your mobile phone into a virtual wallet for secure, fast, and convenient money transfers at the speed and cost of a text message. 

 

Q.   How will the business applicants pay their new business name application with GCash?

A.    They must first apply/register with Globe. To pay their BN application via GCash, here are the simple steps: 

            (a) Go to www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph or www.dti.gov.ph and click the Business Name Registration System (BNR) icon;
  (b) Select New Application, accept BNRS Terms and conditions, fill-out the online BN form, select GCash as Method of Payment, and click Submit;

            (c)   Download the TRN Acknowledgement for reference, click Close then click            Continue to Online Payment;

            (d)   Enter the eleven (11)-digit GCash registered mobile phone number and click Continue;

            (e) From their mobile phones, reply the SMS requesting for the entry of mobile personal identification number (MPIN);

 

Q.   What will the client receive to confirm their GCash e-payment?

A.    If the GCash e-payment transaction is successful, BNRS E-payment Confirmation Receipt will pop-up from the clients' computer screen. There is an option to print the said page which serves as the Official Receipt. Also an SMS with GCash E-payment Reference Number will be sent to the mobile phone. 

 

Q.   How will the client get their Business Name Certificate?

Q.    How much will GCash charge the BNRS client?

A.    Aside from Business Name Registration fee there is no charge upon using GCash as per Globe's new pricing scheme as long as there is enough GCash balance.

 

Q.   How do I become a registered GCash subscriber?   

A.    Text REG [space] [four (4) digit MPIN]/ [mother’s maiden name]/ [first name]/ [last name]/ [address] and send to 2882.
